MIAMI (June 17, 2019) – Private equity lawyer Matthew Bielen has joined Holland & Knight as a partner in Miami. He was previously a Partner with McDermott Will & Emery. He also previously practiced with Kirkland & Ellis in San Francisco.

Mr. Bielen focuses his practice on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations, direct investments, joint ventures and the related financings required to fund such transactions. His transactional and business counseling clients include private equity funds, public and private companies, business owners, executives and family offices.

Mr. Bielen received hid J.D. from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and his B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College. He is admitted to practice in Florida, the District of Columbia, California, and England and Wales.
